❓ Where do I find my VRM Installation ID?
Log in to vrm.victronenergy.com. Your Installation ID is visible in the URL when you open your installation: /installation/XXXXXX/dashboard
❓ Where do I create a VRM Access Token?
In VRM Portal go to: Preferences → Integrations → Access Tokens → Create Token. The token is a 64-character string.
❓ Is my data safe?
Your VRM token is used only to fetch the diagnostic data and is never stored on our servers. The report is generated and sent to your email immediately.
❓ Which battery models are supported?
Pylontech US2000, US2000C, US3000, US3000C, US5000 connected via Victron GX device (Cerbo GX, Ekrano GX, Venus GX etc.)
❓ How long is the report available after payment?
Your diagnostic report is available for download immediately after generation. We recommend saving the PDF to your device. Reports are stored on our server for 30 days.
❓ Is my VRM Access Token safe?
Your Access Token is used exclusively to read diagnostic data from Victron VRM API at the moment of report generation. It is not stored permanently — only kept temporarily in memory during the diagnostic process and then discarded. We never share your credentials with third parties.
Data privacy: PylonCheck reads battery diagnostic data from the Victron VRM API using the credentials you provide. Your VRM Access Token and installation data are used solely for generating the requested diagnostic report. We do not store your VRM credentials after report generation, and we do not share any personal or system data with third parties.
Limitation of liability: PylonCheck provides diagnostic reports for informational purposes only. The information presented is based on data available through the Victron VRM API and reflects the state of the system at the time of the request. PylonCheck is not responsible for any decisions made based on this report, nor for any damage, loss, or malfunction of battery systems.
